I am a BCBA - D with 45 years of clinical experience almost all community and home-based. I have 10 years in academia to include curriculum development. I've been a Clinical Director and Senior Behavior Analyst. I've offered BCBA/BCaBA test prep and field supervision in person and remote for many years.

Consider the difference working with an experienced PhD BCBA - D level clinician and teacher.

I offer 1:1 individualized test prep tutoring with an emphasis on those who need to retake the exam. I also work with first time test takers, international students, English as a second language and those who have - or should have had - test modifications. I understand the stress and frustration and will help you address and work through it. For international students, I always consider time zones and exchange rates. Small study groups are welcome.

I also offer individual BCBA/BCaBA course mentoring for those wanting more support than is available in your current online grad program.

BCBA; BCaBA; RBT Test Prep

If you've struggled with the BCBA exam, do things differently. Stop going back to the same sites. I offer individualized 1:1 BCBA test prep tutoring to help figure out what has interfered with your success on this exam.

I provide resources to include my own 14+ part unique instructional mini mock system. Stop 'following the task list' and prioritizing flash cards. The BCBA exam does not 'follow the task list' and is not a vocabulary test. We'll practice thinking like a Behavior Analyst! We will work on content as well as specific strategies to help take the test which is challenging for the range of content it covers in addition to the way it is written - which can be very confusing.

My individualized Test Prep tutoring starts at a - very competitive - $60 flat rate per session. Our initial conversation is typically without charge. After this first contact, I will invoice following each session and am always open to discussing individual circumstances. I typically ask students to schedule at least 4- 6 weeks out unless you have specific needs or timelines you'd like to discuss further.

This $60 per session flat rate includes my full test prep services with 75 - 90 minute of 1:1 online contact session, learning resources/PPTs and my 14+ part unique instructional mini mock system. To those wanting to schedule more than once per week, I offer a reduction of 5% for any week with 2 sessions. As part of my test prep services, I am also accessible by email between sessions.

I passed my BCBA exam in May 2019 on my 4th attempt. The tutoring I receive from Dr. Lou was extremely beneficial. During the session Dr Lou and I engaged verbal dialogue which is essential to fully understand the concepts. Dr. Lou gave me useful strategies to “break apart” the questions by recognizing those “key word” and application of the terms to the questions that were asked.
